LOOKING FOR CONTESTANTS
The Cedar County Fair Association is seeking contestants for the 2013 Bill Riley’s Iowa State Fair Talent Search Show. The Talent Show will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Cedar County Fair grounds in Tipton. Be sure to apply early as the number of entries is limited. There are two categories, which include: Sprouts, 2-12 yrs. and Seniors: 13-21 yrs. How great it is to see Cedar County talent!
Rules affiliated with the Bill Riley’s Iowa State Fair Talent Search will be used and enforced by the Cedar County Fair Talent Show Committee and Fair Board. We ask that contestants keep the dates of August 8-18 open, as it is strongly discouraged to make schedule changes once contestants have received a performance date. Absolutely no changes can be made when you win at the State Fair and advance to the Semi-finals.

Cedar County Fair Queen Candidates Wanted
The Cedar County Fair is fast approaching. The Cedar County Fair board is looking for young ladies between the ages of 16-21 who reside in Cedar County and are active in at least one service organization. The winner will be given a $150 scholarship along with a crown and sash and will represent Cedar County at the Iowa State Fair. Judges will be making their decision based on appearance, poise, personality, communication (both verbal and non verbal), leadership, community involvement and overall character.
